Solid Wood Worx builds to last, and we stand behind it. This policy covers warranty coverage on everything we sell.

🛡️ Drawer Systems

Solid Wood Worx offers a 10-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship in the wood structure of your system, valid for the original purchaser from the date of delivery.

Covered

  • Structural defects in materials or workmanship present at delivery
  • Wood movement that compromises structural integrity or function: a joint separates, a crack runs through a load-bearing piece, or the system stops functioning as built

Not covered

  • Cosmetic wood movement: minor surface checking, small hairline cracks, or natural color and grain variation that doesn't affect strength or function. This is a normal characteristic of solid wood, not a defect.
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from improper installation, modification, or exceeding listed weight and load limits
  • Damage from accidents, collisions, off-road impact, or environmental exposure beyond normal use
  • Commercial or rental use

Self-installed by the customer

10-year coverage for defects in materials and workmanship in the product as shipped. Doesn't cover damage or failure caused by installation error, since we have no way to verify how the system went in

Drawer slides and hardware ship with your system, either pre-installed or in the box for you to install, and are covered under this same warranty and the same installation-based coverage above.

If you're self-installing and unsure about a step, reach out before you install. We'd rather answer a question than deny a claim later. Our PDF guides and install videos walk through the process.

Remedy At our discretion, we'll repair, replace, or issue partial credit for the affected component.

Making a claim Email us at contact@solidwoodworx.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and a description of what's happening; claims must be submitted in writing, not by phone. We'll confirm whether it's covered and walk you through next steps.

Original purchaser only This warranty covers the original purchaser and isn't transferable if the vehicle or system is resold.

🧵 Soft Goods & Other Products

Anything else we make directly, outside the drawer system, is covered by a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, valid for the original purchaser from the date of delivery.

Not covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse or improper care
  • Damage from accidents or use outside the product's intended purpose

Remedy At our discretion, we'll repair, replace, or issue partial credit.

Making a claim Same process as above: email us at contact@solidwoodworx.com, in writing, with your order number, photos, and a description of the issue.

📬 Drop-Shipped Items

Some products in our lineup ship directly from the original manufacturer rather than our own facility. For these, the manufacturer's own warranty terms apply, not the terms above.

If you have an issue with a drop-shipped item, email us first at contact@solidwoodworx.com, in writing; we can't process this by phone. We'll facilitate the claim on your behalf and follow the manufacturer's process every step of the way. You bought it through us; we'll see it through.

🤝 Purchased Through a Retailer or Reseller

Warranty claims are still honored by us directly with proof of purchase, regardless of where you bought your product, as long as it was through an authorized partner.

If your product came from a source other than solidwoodworx.com or one of our authorized partners, our warranty doesn't apply. Reach out to us if you're unsure whether a seller is authorized.

What's the warranty on my drawer system?

A 10-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, for the original purchaser.

Does the warranty cover wood cracking or warping?

Minor cosmetic movement, like small checking, hairline cracks, or color variation, is normal and not covered. If wood movement affects structural integrity, that's covered.

Does it matter who installs my system?

Yes. Full coverage applies if we or a verified installer partner install it. Self-installed systems are covered for defects in materials and workmanship, but not for issues caused by installation error.

What's the warranty on other products?

A 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

What about products that ship from another manufacturer?

Those follow the original manufacturer's warranty. We'll help facilitate any claim.

I bought through a retailer, not solidwoodworx.com. What about warranty claims?

We honor those directly with proof of purchase, as long as it was through an authorized partner.
