Warranty Policy

We're a small team that designs, builds, and ships these systems ourselves — and that means we actually care whether yours is dialed in. If something's off, we want to know. Reach out and we'll make it right. That's the short version. Here's the long version.

SWW-Built Systems — Products We Make and Fulfill

This section covers every storage system designed, built, and shipped by Solid Wood Worx. If we made it and sent it, this is your coverage.

What We Cover

  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use conditions

  • Drawer slides and structural components that fail during normal operation

  • Damaged or defective panels — replaced at no cost, no hassle

  • Missing hardware — replaced at no cost, just shoot us a message

Installation Requirements

Warranty coverage requires installation per our instructions. Not because we're being difficult — because the attachment points, hardware specs, and load paths actually matter for the system to work as designed and for your safety. Follow the guide and we've got you.

  • Use the provided hardware only. No substitutions.

  • Attach only to the factory anchor points specified in your vehicle install guide

  • No drilling into the vehicle floor, walls, or cargo area — ever

  • Follow the torque and assembly sequence in the instructions

Coverage does not apply to damage or failure resulting from improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or deviation from the install guide.

Weight Limits — Know Your Numbers

These aren't suggestions. They're the point beyond which physics takes over.

Limit

Rating

Notes

Drawer slides

250 lbs per slide

2 slides per drawer — one locking, one non-locking

Max load weight

300 lbs

Distributed evenly across the full system

Max sleeping weight

400 lbs

Distributed evenly across the sleeping platform top

Off-road driving applies forces that static ratings alone cannot fully describe. A lightly loaded system on a rough trail hits harder than a heavy one at highway speed. The rougher the terrain, the lighter you should run it.

Warranty does not cover damage from exceeding weight limits, overloading under dynamic off-road conditions, or loads not evenly distributed across the system top.

What We Don't Cover

  • Normal wear: scratches, scuffs, and surface finish wear from regular use

  • Damage from exceeding weight limits

  • Damage from improper installation or unauthorized modifications

  • Water damage — our surfaces are water-repellent, not waterproof

  • Trail cosmetic damage — that's a badge of honor, not a warranty claim

  • Damage from use outside the intended application

Partner Products — Their Warranty, Their Rules

Some products we offer are designed, manufactured, and fulfilled by our partners — not by us. For any product not made and fulfilled by Solid Wood Worx, the manufacturer or fulfillment partner warranty policy supersedes ours.

We will facilitate the warranty process on your behalf and follow the manufacturer's protocol every step of the way. If you bought a partner product through us and have a warranty question or claim, reach out to us first — we'll coordinate with the manufacturer, follow their process, and keep you in the loop throughout. You bought it through us; we're not going to disappear when something comes up.

Talk to Us

We're a small crew. When something's wrong, we'd genuinely rather know about it and fix it than have you silently stewing over a system with our name on it. Reach out through our website, text us, or DM us on Instagram — we read them all. Include your order number, a description of what's going on, and a photo if you can. We'll get back to you fast.

  • Email: contact@solidwoodworx.com

  • Text or call: listed at solidwoodworx.com

  • Instagram DM: @solidwoodworx

We want you out there doing the things you bought this system for. If we can help make that happen, we will.
